Dru's Birthday

On December 9th, Dru had a big milestone birthday. I won't say which milestone, but suffice it to say that we're both decade babies and it's not the same decade! :) To celebrate, the whole fam went out for some seriously good Mexican food. The margaritas were good, too!

Then, time for presents. I got Dru a Ruger pistol that he'd been wanting for months. He was soooo excited!!!

After celebrating that night, I came into the bedroom after feeding Clara to find this; seriously, this is exactly how I found him. He is like a little boy with a toy gun!

Then, that weekend, I surprised Dru with a trip up to the Ashley Inn in Cascade, Idaho. Fin stayed with Nana and Poppy, but we needed to take Clara since she's still nursing. This was our lunch stop at a little cafe.

When we got there, the Inn was all decked out for the Christmas season. It was spectacular!

...and the best part - the jacuzzi tub up in the bay windows. It was like taking a bath outside. And it was beautiful because it was snowing when we arrived, so it was like taking a bath out in the snow.

The bed was ginormous and very comfy

We put the camera on auto-timer and caught a shot of us enjoying the jacuzzi tub.

Clara enjoyed it there, too!

After the bath, we wrapped ourselves up in the complimentary thick bathrobes.

Dru and Clara fell asleep on the couch - I found them like this. Awww...

Finally, we had a nice romantic dinner with sparkling lights and snow coming down outside.
